Additive manufacturing

Additive manufacturing has been established in many areas in recent years. Using 3D printing, objects made of metal, plastics, ceramics, glass, sand, or other materials are built up in layers until they have reached their finished shape. Additive manufacturing is a very innovative market, which underlines the number of different manufacturing processes. Many of these processes require subsequent heat treatment of the manufactured components. The requirements for the heat treatment furnace depend on the component material, the working temperature, the atmosphere in the furnace, and of course the additive manufacturing process.

In additive manufacturing, a distinction is made between printing with and without a binder. Depending on the manufacturing process, different furnace types are used for the subsequent heat treatment.

The collaboration between Aparatura Lab and Nabertherm provides users in Serbia, Montenegro, and Macedonia with access to top-notch technologies for additive manufacturing, along with expert support and consultation.
