STRIKE100 is a high-capacity rotary evaporator designed for industrial facilities. It meets all processing needs using borosilicate glass and PTFE, enabling the treatment of aggressive substances.
The unit operates under vacuum or atmospheric conditions. Rotating a 50 or 100-liter evaporation flask in a thermostatic bath results in forced convection and homogeneous product distribution, preventing sedimentation. Additionally, it provides a high exchange surface for evaporation. The sealing system ensures perfect vacuum tightness and maintenance-free operation. Glassware customization is available to meet client needs.
Industrial rotary evaporators prioritize user safety by mitigating any risks during operation. The thermostatic bath is shielded by a transparent cover, providing operators with maximum protection against glass breakage and splashing at high temperatures.
Both the thermostatic bath and protective shield are raised using a hydraulic system controlled electronically. An automatic system lowers the thermostatic bath in case of power interruption, door opening, or overheating. Additionally, a brake disk is integrated into the glassware to prevent sudden pressure increases.
A significant advantage of these rotary evaporators is their sealing system made of self-lubricating material, ensuring perfect vacuum sealing. This sealing system requires no maintenance.
The heating bath is raised using a hydraulic system which, in case of power interruption or door opening, automatically lowers to prevent liquid overheating, halting the process immediately.
The electric heater is upgraded to 8 kW to ensure continuous product evaporation even under the harshest conditions.
Process operating conditions can be set and displayed: any deviation in values or abnormal temperature will cut off the electric power supply. For the ATEX version of STRIKE100, there is an “LCD screen with anti-reflective coating on the glass panel.” For the standard STRIKE100 version, there is a 7-inch color touchscreen display.
STRIKE100ATEX is fully controlled by a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), enabling parameter control and direct adjustment via buttons.
Users can access all process parameters on an external computer via serial communication using specialized data acquisition and management software. Remote instrument control from an external computer via serial communication is possible. Additionally, the instrument features control algorithms allowing for the automatic completion of evaporation/distillation or solvent separation processes by reading vapor temperature.
