ECO 6 is a 6-position thermoreactor designed for Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) analysis, featuring adjustable temperature up to 200 °C and a timer up to 999 minutes. It ensures a safe and efficient digestion process while offering high flexibility by supporting different tube sizes.
ECO 6 allows easy programming of time (1 to 999 minutes or continuous mode) and temperature (ambient to 200 °C).
The digital display ensures real-time monitoring of the test, constantly showing the remaining time.
Once the analysis is completed, the unit automatically shuts down, ensuring safety. Anti-splash protective bells safeguard users and samples, while acoustic and visual alarms alert in case of anomalies.
The ECO 6 is originally designed to accommodate large test tubes with a diameter of 42 mm (up to 6 x 200 ml), but thanks to the smart adapter, it can also support 18 small tubes of 16 mm or 6 tubes of 22 mm.
This flexibility allows for sample digestion using different methods, making ECO 6 suitable for various laboratory applications.
Using smaller tubes reduces reagent consumption, optimizes workspace, and enables multiple samples to be processed simultaneously in a single heating block.
ECO 6 enables rapid COD analysis in just 30 minutes by applying a high digestion temperature (160 °C).
This method significantly reduces sample preparation time, allowing laboratories to increase their throughput while reducing reagent consumption and equipment requirements.
