The Strike 20 comes with an optional transparent protective shield for the evaporation flask. Specially designed and robust, the shield provides maximum protection against evaporation flask breakage and splashing during high-temperature processes. The heating bath and protective shield are raised using an electronically monitored system. An automatic system lowers the heating bath in case of power failure, overheating, or other unforeseen events. The Strike 20 also features a rupture disc, a safety device installed on the glassware to prevent overpressure.
Raised by a powered lifting system, the heating bath automatically lowers in case of power interruption or alarm to prevent liquid overheating, and the process is immediately halted. Its electric heater, enhanced to 3 kW (<3 W/cm2), ensures continuous evaporation of a wide range of products even under critical operating conditions.
Process parameters can be set and monitored on a 7-inch touchscreen display.
