Model MTM-1A is a Metallurgical upright Microscope with reflected illumination (Epi-illumination), suitable for observing surfaces of non-transparent objects. It is ideal for identification and analysis of the structure of many kinds of materials and alloys, and for IC inspection. It is equipped with five objectives with plan-achromatic optics to achieve the best image quality. The stage is wide, with a large X-Y excursion possibility. It is also equipped with a polarizer/analyzer that gives this microscope great versatility and the ability to work in many fields such as metallography, mineralogy, electronics, silicon wafer inspection, quality control, and scientific research.
